The Favorite is a quick little short story from Marlee's point of view in the Selection series by Kiera Cass. Marlee definitely was a favorite, and this glimpse into her life during the selection is exactly why. She's someone that you just can't help but like, or seriously.. there's something wrong with you. And though we know they had some very rough times, it was so cute getting to see how she and Carter met and became close. They are one adorable couple.

The Crown is the fifth book in the Selection series by Kiera Cass. I was happy with how everything turned out in this book. I'm thrilled with Edalyn's choice. He was my pick too, although some of the other guys grew on me. Some of them had pretty irresistible personalities. You can't help but love them. I'm glad the author wrote these two additional books. With some series, you always wonder how the couple will turn out down the road. So, It was fun to see a happily ever after like Maxon and America stay a happily ever after, and to see their kid growing up too. We got updates on a few other characters too. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's like you're a part of their World, and you get to catch up with everyone.

The Heir is the fourth book in the Selection series by Kiera Cass. I thought this series was ending with The One. So, I was super excited when I heard about this book coming out, and I'm glad to finally have a chance to read it. So, you may worry that it'll be too much like the prior three, but basically the "Selection" itself is the only big similarity. Eadlyn is completely different from America in pretty much every way. She's grown up a princess, making her a touch spoiled with an outlook on life that America never would have dreamed of before her Selection. As far as the guys are concerned, I can see this going any number of ways. There is no triangle, or square, or anything yet. In fact, the last thing Eadlyn wants is to fall in love and get married. She just wants to do her job. Of course, I already have my favorites of the guys narrowed down, but who knows if my picks will even make it. The one I like most is highly unlikely to happen, but we'll see. *wink*
