Book Review! The Immortal Vow by Juliana Haygert

The Immortal Vow (Rite of the Vampire Saga #3) by Juliana Haygert
Genre: New Adult (Paranormal Romance)
Date Published: May 28, 2018
Publisher: Self

A young woman facing death. A man racing against time. And an upcoming war that might be the end of it all …

When Drake and I arrived at our new home, I could pretend it had been all a dream. A nightmare. Here, we are safe and happy—and together.

Our safety and comfort are only temporary.

Drake and I know that to reach the peace we seek, to be really free of the past, we need to return and fight back. We need to put an end to this chaos and madness. We need to face the vampires, the witches, the werewolves, and we need to win.

But since fleeing the last battle, I’ve been sick and it’s only getting worse. If we can’t find a way of saving me, I’ll die soon.

I just hope it’s after we win this war.

An exciting and mysterious paranormal romance novel, The Immortal Vow is an exquisite new adult fantasy featuring a brooding vampire prince and a spirited witch queen. Fans of A Shade of Vampire by Bella Forrest and The Vampire Diaries will become addicted to this series!

The Immortal Vow is the third book in the Rite of the Vampire Saga by Juliana Haygert. Their world is upside down, and there is so much to be done. Thea and Drake are a great team as just the two of them, and when you add in a ghost, werewolf, and a newbie warlock? They could be unstoppable. There was so much happening within this book that made it super hard to put down. It definitely keeps you engaged. I didn't know this was the final book in the series until I finished reading it, and everything seemed to be concluded. I was definitely hoping for more books, but I'm very happy with the turn of events within this book either way.

While USA Today Bestselling Author Juliana Haygert dreams of being Wonder Woman, Buffy, or a blood elf shadow priest, she settles for the less exciting—but equally gratifying—life of a wife, mother, and author. Thousands of miles away from her former home in Brazil, she now resides in North Carolina and spends her days writing about kick-ass heroines and the heroes who drive them crazy.

Release Day Review! The Witch Queen by Juliana Haygert

The Witch Queen (Rite of the Vampire Saga #2) by Juliana Haygert
Genre: New Adult (Paranormal Romance)
Date Published: April 16, 2018
Publisher: Self

A young woman with a deadly mission. A man trying to save his people. And a terrible challenge that might drive them apart …

When Drake left me behind, I thought my heart would break. But before I could change my mind and follow him, Princess Morda of the Silverblood found me.

I'm now back at my coven, viewed as a heroine for having succeeded in my suicide mission. But I don't feel like a heroine. I feel like I'm being torn into pieces as Princess Morda insists in using my accomplishment as an example to encourage the other witches to act.

Our enemy covens grow restless and since my coven is the only one without a Witch Queen, we're at a disadvantage. But Princess Morda has a plan for that-a horrific plan I don't want to be a part of.

Among escapades to meet Drake-who has his own problems to deal with-and navigating the complicated rules of a place I once loved, I find myself lonely and lost.

But I can't surrender to the darkness now. A war is coming and I have a key part to play.

An exhilarating and dark paranormal romance novel, The Witch Queen is a dazzling new adult fantasy featuring an enigmatic vampire prince and a resilient witch. Fans of A Shade of Vampire by Bella Forrest and The Vampire Diaries will become addicted to this series!

The Witch Queen is the second book in the Rite of the Vampire Saga by Juliana Haygert. Drake and Thea spend a lot of time apart in this book, but they're able to get so much accomplished. They make the most of the times they are together, complete with steamy-ness, and you can feel their chemistry now. There's a lot going on this time around too, and a few twists are thrown in as well. I have to say, I liked the twists quite a bit. They kept things interesting. We met some new characters, and there's one in particular who has me very curious. This story definitely kept my attention, and I'm eager to see what the next book brings!

Book Review! The Vampire Heir by Juliana Haygert

The Vampire Heir (Rite of the Vampire Saga #1) by Juliana Haygert
Genre: New Adult (Paranormal Romance)
Date Published: March 5, 2018

A young woman with a secret. A man with a death sentence. And a terrible fate that might destroy them both …

When I was invited to the secretive castle DuMoir, I knew I'd end up dead. The guests might be excited by the exclusive tour around the estate, and the ending ball that concludes it, but I know better.

The castle's inhabitants are vampires. And they want our blood.

I must find a way to survive their feast, because I'm not here as a clueless visitor. I'm here for a reason. Undercover work can be hard, but I've been through worse. That is until I unwillingly become a blood slave to Drake, a mysterious, brooding vampire prince.

Tragedy strikes the castle and chaos arise. Despite the new dangers surrounding us, I soon find out there's more to Drake than he lets on, and feelings I'm not supposed to have stir in my chest.

But I can't afford any distractions or everything will be lost. After all, I'm hiding a secret-a dark secret that might save us all … or doom us forever.

A thrilling and bloody paranormal romance novel, The Vampire Heir is a stunning new adult fantasy featuring a dark and mysterious vampire prince and a strong heroine. Fans of A Shade of Vampire by Bella Forrest and The Vampire Diaries will become addicted to this series!

The Vampire Heir is the first book in the Rite of the Vampire Saga by Juliana Haygert. This was a fast, fun, and action packed story. There was a lot going on in a little bit of time, and it kept me interested all the way through. I enjoyed the characters, even the bad ones that made your blood boil. They kept things interesting. I'm not too sure about the romance yet. One minute they're at odds and don't trust each other, then they're in love. I feel like it needed more time to grow. I loved then individually as characters though. I enjoyed the story as a whole, and I'm anxious for more in this series!
