"Because a kiss should be born from love, and want, and need. A kiss should be beautiful, something a girl can hold onto for the rest of her life, to pull out in her memory whenever she wants butterflies to come back."

Our lips met and the jolt of electricity I felt in my stomach dwarfed every kiss I'd imagined us having. My willpower broke, swept away by the force of my feelings. For one moment, nothing was real beyond that kiss.”

Eversea Tour Part 2: A Review of Forever Jack by Natasha Boyd. Plus Giveaways!

Forever Jack (Eversea #2) by Natasha Boyd
Genre: Adult Fiction (Contemporary Romance)
Date Published: November 25, 2013
Publisher: NPRB

A feisty small-town girl and the Hollywood star who broke her heart

An all-consuming love threatened by fame

One last chance at FOREVER

Keri Ann Butler's life changed on the night she met movie star, Jack Eversea. She thought she knew a Jack that was very different to the man adored by fans the world over. In the wake of his betrayal and abandonment, Keri Ann has had to pick up and move forward with the life she was supposed to live and has put off far too long.

Suddenly Jack is back, and his explanations for why he left seem more and more plausible, and his declarations more seductive. But being Jack's latest tabloid accessory isn't on Keri Ann's career agenda, no matter how much she is attracted to him. And how can she can ever trust him again?

Jack knows he let the only 'real' thing that ever happened to him slip through his fingers. And his hands have been tied to try and stop it. Until Now.

Jack is now fighting to save his relationship with Keri Ann, even as his crazy life threatens to tear them apart. Again. The question is, can he convince her she can have it all? And have him? Forever?

Forever Jack is the sequel to Eversea by Natasha Boyd. If you haven't read Eversea yet, I suggest you read it before reading this review. Check out my Eversea review while you're at it! I felt so bad for Keri Ann through the whole beginning of this book. I really think Jack should have contacted her at some point to let her know what the heck was going on. In Jack's defense, he didn't have it easy either. So, his mind wasn't thinking logically. I enjoyed this book even more than I enjoyed Eversea. These characters and their relationship is so stinkin' addictive. I get why Keri Ann keeps pushing him away. Even though, as a reader, I was ready to take him back with open arms. I get why she didn't. I felt like her emotions and fears were very realistic and justified. I really liked getting a little bit of Jack's perspective too. It answered any lingering questions I had about his motives. You get to know some of the supporting characters a little better too, which I enjoyed. There is all kinds of drama. And just when you think they are in the clear.. here comes more drama. I loved this book. The Eversea Series is a dramatic and emotional love story that leaves the reader feeling intoxicated and swooning!

Eversea Tour Part 1: A Review of Eversea by Natasha Boyd. Plus Giveaways!

Eversea (Eversea #1) by Natasha Boyd
Genre: Adult Fiction (Contemporary Romance)
Date Published: June 4, 2013
Publisher: Self

Eversea, a love story, is a Winter Rose Contest FINALIST 2013. Emilia Pisani of Simon & Schuster (judge) says "Great southern flavor!" and "Jack is an alluring leading man!"

An orphaned, small-town, southern girl, held hostage by responsibility and self-doubt.

A Hollywood A-list mega-star, on the run from his latest scandal and with everything to lose.

A chance encounter that leads to an unlikely arrangement and epic love affair that will change them both forever.

When his co-star and real-life girlfriend is caught cheating on him with her new director, A-list hottie, Jack Eversea, finds himself in sleepy Butler Cove, South Carolina. Jack hopes the sultry southern heat in this tiny coastal Lowcountry town will hide him not only from the tabloids and his cheating girlfriend, but his increasingly vapid life and the people who run it. He doesn’t count on meeting Keri Ann Butler.

Keri Ann has relied on herself so long, dealing with her family’s death and the responsibilities of keeping up her family's historic mansion, that boys and certainly the meager offering of eligible boys in Butler Cove, have never figured into her equation. But fate has other plans. Suddenly face to face with the man who played the movie role of her favorite fictional character, Jack has Keri Ann yearning for everything she has previously avoided ... and Jack must decide whether this funny, sassy girl is worth changing his life for, before his mistakes catch up to him.

Eversea is the intoxicating debut novel by Natasha Boyd. I was immediately drawn into the life of Keri Anne. The scenes were written in such away that I felt like I was there, and this was all happening to me. The emotions were raw between the characters and that really flowed from the pages. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but there were many things that reminded me of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's breakup. I was a little worried about that in the beginning, but it didn't hinder the overall enjoyment of the book for me. In fact, except for some obvious instances, I rarely thought about the comparison through most of the story. Jack and Keri Ann are broken and flawed, each in their own ways. They both have had some major trauma in their lives. I think these things make them perfect for putting each other back together again. The romance is electric. Their chemistry seeps off the page and kept me in an almost permanent state of anticipation.
