Animals are a huge part of my life. I like to help the homeless animals in anyway I can, and I think that one of the best ways to make a difference is by helping your local animal shelters and rescues. I could post my local shelter here, but the majority of those who will be looking at this post probably don't live near me, so I encourage you to check out Petfinder to locate an animal shelter or rescue near you.

 There are so many ways you can help local shelters and rescues. They are always looking for donations of food, bedding, toys, and money. You can also help by volunteering and spreading awareness! The more people involved the more animal lives we can save!!
