Top 10 Week! My Favorite Quotes of 2019

I love posting my favorite quotes! This is a list of my favorite quotes from books I read in 2019. They're in no particular order.

His eyes dart from the horizon to my red bikini and back again. “I saw that,” I say. He sips his drink. “Saw what?”“You checked out my chest.”“Of course I did. It’s like having two other people up here with us. I don’t want to be rude.”

"At the end of the day, we’re all just children pretending to be adults.”

"She had much she wanted to say to him, but she might end up knifing him by mistake."

"Face them all like a warrior, whether you are one or not."

“Tell the truth, or I'll hunt you down and use a dull, dirty knife to relieve you of body parts your missus might once have been fond of.”

"I just tossed a werewolf out of my cabin for trying to kill my kitten that's now a skunk, and tonight, I might turn into a wolf myself."

Rotherby snorted. “You must have a sizable library, then.”
“It’s not the size,” Sebastian replied drily. “It’s what I do with it. Very thick volumes.”

“It’s our brokenness that makes us who we are. Without the shattered pieces, our lights would never filter through to the rest of the world.”

"Hello, pecs. It’s good to see you both again. I’ve missed you. I wish you didn’t belong to the ogre."

“You have been in every way all that anyone could be.… If anybody could have saved me it would have been you.”
