My Review:
Meeting Destiny is the first book in the Destiny series by Nancy Straight. There is so much going on within this story, both in front of and behind the scenes and you don't learn everything right away. In fact, you don't learn everything yet, period. There is so much more that I'm anxious to find out in the next books. I loved the premise. It was different and put a unique spin on destiny and life purpose. Everyone has a purpose. Some have more than one purpose, and not everyone's purpose is a good on, but they are fated to carry these things out while others are fated to either stop them, encourage them, etc. They're lives all intermingled almost like a puzzle, but unlike puzzles, things could change depending on the choices made. This whole idea was very well explained and thought out. The romance between Lauren and Max was a quick one, but there are always some complications to keep things interesting. Meeting Destiny provides some intense suspense mixed with belly flipping romance quite nicely. This book grabbed my attention right away, and never let it go until the end, which I wasn't at all ready for. I'm really looking forwards to seeing where this story line goes!
