My Review:
Nightmare, the second book in the Noctalis Chronicles by Chelsea M. Cameron, picks up where Nocturnal left off. This sequel did not disappoint, and I liked it just as much as the first book. The main characters have changed through out these two books. I'm not just talking about their relationship, which intensifies by the minute. Peter, for example is funny and cute as he is learning to act human. He's had me from the beginning with his "blinks". The other characters become more involved through this book, and I'm still not sure I would have told Tex the big secret, but she's entertaining. There's a character in particular who really shocks me, but I'm not telling you why. You'll have to read that for yourself. The ending was abrupt and left me kicking and screaming for more. Literally. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for Numb, the third and final book in the Noctalis Chronicles, due out September 31, 2012.
