All the following information was provided via Dilly Dally PR.

About the book:
Honor and Faith haven’t switched places since they were kids. When Honor begs her twin sister to go on a date with her boyfriend, Cameron, Faith reluctantly agrees. The problem is that she lets things go too far. Now Honor and Cameron have broken up and he won’t stop calling Faith, claiming he felt something more for her than he ever felt for Honor. The scary thing is, Faith felt it too. She struggles to come to terms with her feelings for Cameron. There is one rule that sisters and best friends abide by, don’t date their ex’s.

Honor has her own problems. Breaking it off with Cameron was the right thing to do, she knows that. His best friend, Parker, won’t leave her alone and forces her to talk about her feelings about the break-up. They spend a lot of time together and Honor starts to heal. Suddenly, Honor sees Parker as more than just a friend who cares. She wants more.

Neither sister wants to complicate things further and cross those boundaries. They can’t stop their emotions for the guys in their lives. Turns out, the switch is the one thing that has changed them forever.

Release date will be at the end of August!!!!

Genre: Young Adult (Paranormal Romance)
Date Published: July 23, 2013
Publisher: Chafie Press
Tour Coordinator: InkSlinger PR

The Blurb:
How many answers you seek are just a part of you, waiting to be found?

The game has changed.

Fresh from her first brush with mortality, a fragile Sadie Matthau is playing human with Cole Hardwick while the Survivors endure unimaginable tragedy. Wrought with the first deaths of their own kind, a tyrant who will torture them, and an opponent more terrifying than anyone could have foreseen, the Survivors are facing their end.

Told from three points of view, The Survivors: Body & Blood is a bloodcurdling, mind-bending, heart-stopping ride. As Sadie and the Winters uncover more enemies, more history, and more answers, they find themselves brought closer together and ripped further apart. And all the while, a haunting Alexander Raven lurks at the edge of Sadie s lifeline, at the darkening fringes of her mind.

As the Survivors descend into chaos, Sadie realizes a painful truth: the deepest of secrets leave the darkest of marks.

Caught between a terrifying fantasy and her own grim reality, Body & Blood is the story of Sadie s dance with her demons, future, past, and present.

Book Review: Point of Origin by Amanda Havard

Genre: Young Adult (Paranormal Romance)
Date Published: June 12, 2012
Publisher: Chafie Press
Tour Coordinator: InkSlinger PR

The Blurb:
The winter is upon us. The Survivors are in chaos. The war is coming.

One year ago, Sadie Matthau was living among humans, existing as one of them. But now she wakes each morning in a house in the Survivors’ City, listening to the invocations and insults of her family members as they cope with their new future. A war. Rogue abandoners turned monsters. Sadie and the icy Winters living in their midst, bringing the outside world in.

The Survivors: Point of Origin is Sadie’s quest to save her family. But can she find what she is looking for when she can barely stomach the Winters’ wintry demeanor and finds herself distracted by Cole Hardwick’s warm heart? Will she be able to uncover her family’s history even as the elders’ grip tightens around her throat? In an action packed ride full of magic and misery, terror and triumph, Sadie Matthau seeks the Survivors’ beginning just in time to face her end.

My Review:
Point of Origin is the second book in The Survivors Series by Amanda Havard. There is so much that is involved in this series that you really need to read Book 1: The Survivors before starting Point of Origin. Sadie has been living life as a human for so long, it's hard for her to adapt back to the ways of The Survivors. Plus, now she has the Winter's with her, so making sure everyone gets along isn't easy. I'm not sure where her relationship with Everett is going. They say they love each other, but some of the things they do and say don't reflect that love. Sadie keeps visiting Cole too which really doesn't help her relationship with Everett. She's struggling even more with both her humanity and lack of humanity, and as a result both of these guys are being strung along for the ride. There was a lot of traveling in Point of Origin. She stops in New York, Boston, and Salem too name a few. I have been to these places so, it was a lot of fun being able to accurately visualize these places she was visiting. Like the first book, Point of Origin is so darn interesting. There is a lot of action, and I'm really wondering who I can trust. This is a story that definitely keeps me on my toes. Point of Origin is completely unique!
I won Point of Origin by Amanda Havard through Bookies. The opinions are my own.

The Excerpt:
Frankie

Sugar. I needed more of it if I was going to make it through this day. The chocolate croissant and caramel latte I had this morning wasn’t near enough to combat the massive lines, the noise, and disgruntled people that filled the DMV. Whatever in hell made me think that working at the Department of Motor Vehicles, here in Alaska, was a good idea?

Maybe it was the good pay. Maybe it was because I got weekends off.

Or maybe it was because I had a moment of temporary insanity that unfortunately coincided with me saying, “I accept,” when I got offered this job. Besides the fact that the lines were permanently out the door, the computer systems were temperamental at best, and my boss was a complete broom rider, my stash of chocolate and Sour Patch Kids was empty.

That meant someone was going to die today.

I glanced back up at the ninety-year-old woman whose head barely cleared the insanely high counters we stood behind and tried to hold on to my patience. “Mrs. Eldridge,” I said extremely loudly. “Like I told you last week, you have to go and get new glasses before I can renew your driver’s license.”

“I have new glasses,” she insisted.

Lord, save me now.

“You got those ten years ago. You need some from this year.” Or decade I finished silently.

She shuffled out of the line like a turtle and I took her slowness as a chance to really search beneath my station and chair for a long-lost piece of sugar. Anything. Even a stray jellybean would likely find its way into my blood stream at this point. Of course there was nothing. I briefly considered hiding beneath my desk until five o’clock. My car. I had an emergency stash in my car. I glanced at my watch. I had another hour until I was able to take a fifteen-minute break.

A pair of black pumps appeared before me and I inwardly groaned. Just what I needed—a run-in with the witch. But instead of being greeted by her condescending, screechy tone, an icycold red can appeared before me.

Hallelujah, praise the Lord, it was caffeine and sugar!

I snatched the Coke out of her hand and popped the top, taking a large, satisfying chug.

The bubbles crowded down my throat, slightly burning, and I took another swallow.

“I love you,” I murmured to Lela, the girl who worked right beside me.

She laughed. “I know that look when I see it.” Then she straightened and whispered.

“Witch alert.”

I shot up, my head bumping into the counter on the way. I wanted to shout out in pain, but I clamped my mouth shut, not wanting to draw the attention of my boss, Satan’s assistant. I turned back to my line, my eyes colliding with a broad chest. I looked up, and the can slid out of my hand, hitting the floor with a thud while fizzy liquid poured over my favorite boots.

I didn’t even notice.

“What the hell are you doing here?” I growled as I looked around for something sharp I could stab him with.

A thick brow arched. “So is this where you spend your days? As if the DMV isn’t a horrible enough place to visit without the poor people of Alaska having to tolerate you.”

There wasn’t enough sugar on this planet that would save him. I reached out and picked up the black phone. If I couldn’t bludgeon him to death here at my place of employment, then I could at least call the cops. I began dialing, but he reached over and cut the connection.

I slammed the phone down on his hand, which was still pressed on the hang-up button.

Breath hissed between his teeth and his green eyes shot to mine. “Careful, George, you’re pissing off the wrong man.”

“My name isn’t George.”

He shrugged, pulling his hand away from the phone. “When you have a man’s name, does it really matter?”

Date Published: June 25, 2013
Publisher: A&A Literary

The Blurb:
She wants a summer job and a ride to a wedding.

He wants an assistant and a distraction from the mess his life had become.

They didn't know they needed each other.

Avery Emili needs two grand. Two grand and a plane ticket--her sister is counting on her to get to Jamaica for her wedding. But the semester is over, and tutoring college freshman and high school students has dried up until the fall.

Atticus Grimes needs help--the messy split with his wife left the twenty-eight year old professor scrambling to keep things together as the semester winds down. Now he's got a research grant he has to actually do research for and all he wants to do is drown himself in a tall bottle of bourbon.

When Avery sees his ad for an assistant, all she's thinking is a summer job. But as they spend time together, in the office and out, both of them begin to realize something is there. Something that can't happen--he's a professor and she's a student. And both of them have histories, pasts that won’t let go. Can two broken people pulled apart by expectations find a way to be whole?

Character Interview with Avery Emili:
Can you tell us a little about yourself? Uh, I'm about to start my senior year at the University of Branton. I love history, have a crazy best friend. I originated in Virgina and... Yeah, that's all I've got. I'm a history geek and prefer home to parties and I'm not really sure how I ended up here.

Why did you go to work for Atticus? I needed a job--I didn't expect Dad to cut off my rent and utilities when I didn't come home for the summer. And there was the wedding, so yeah--I needed a job. And he was the best option. *shrug* better than waiting tables.

What is the best thing about Branton? :) the coffee shop. (Atticus says to say him. He's a little egotistical that way.) ((he's not completely wrong))

What are your plans after graduation? Grad school. After that--not sure? It used to be easier to know but things have gotten....complicated.

Favorite book? Catcher in the Rye.

Favorite drink? A Miami vice

Best way to spend the evening? Watching a movie with Atti.

Found Tour! Review and Excerpt of Found by Alyssa Rose Ivy!

Genre: New Adult (Paranormal Romance)
Published: July 16, 2013
Publisher: Self

The Blurb:
Levi might be hot, strong, and have a cool set of wings, but it's not enough to make up for keeping Allie in the dark.

Allie's tired of being left with more questions than answers. She's tired of loving a guy who refuses to level with her. Most of all, she's tired of her life spinning out of control.

Desperate to save Jess no matter the personal cost, Allie has to face the possibility that the only one she can trust is herself.

My Review:
Found is the third and final book in the Crescent Chronicles. If you haven't read any of the books yet, I highly suggest you do so. It's addictive. After seeing the cover, you may think that the series involves angels/fallen angels, but these guys are something different entirely. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good angel story, but it's nice to have a little something unique thrown into the paranormal romance genre too. Alyssa Rose Ivy knows how to spin some original stories and create worlds that you wish really existed. That's how I feel about The Crescent Chronicles. I want it to be real. I enjoyed reading this book entirely too much, and I'm not at all ready for this series to end. This book was  full of excitement from start to finish. It introduces you to new characters and new places. I love Allie and Levi. Love them. I yelled at Allie a few times for the things she did. Levi got reprimanded a time or two too. But, that almost added to it. They aren't perfect, and that makes them easy to relate to. The supporting characters, like Jared and Hailey, all added to the fun of the story. I would love a Jared spin off. I was so caught up in the whirlwind that is Found, that it was all over before I knew it. Everything was wrapped up nicely though. There are no lingering loose ends to mess with my head. With that being said, I'm still in denial that this is the last book. I refuse to believe it. The whole series was full of drama, romance, bits of humor, and all around fun. This is a series you must read.

The ARC of Found by Alyssa Rose Ivy was provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

Blog Tour! A Book Review of An Endless Summer by C.J. Duggan

An Endless Summer (Summer #2) by C.J. Duggan
Genre: New Adult (Contemporary Romance)
Date Published: July 11, 2013
Publisher: Self

The Blurb:
Sean looked out over the lake, squinting against the sunlight. He turned to me, his expression sobering as his eyes flicked over my face in a silent study.

“Come on Amy, I saved you once, I’ll save you again.”
I met his stare unflinchingly. “I don’t need saving.”
A wicked grin formed slowly. “Don’t you?”

After a rebellious summer night that almost claimed her life, Amy Henderson – the Onslow publican’s only daughter – is sent away to suffer a fate far worse than any other punishment:

Boarding School.

Three years on, a now nineteen-year-old Amy returns to Onslow for the summer. What once was a cauldron of activity with live bands, hot meals and cold beers, the Onslow Hotel now lies dark, deserted and depressing. All fond childhood memories of loitering on the hotel stairs and eavesdropping on customers’ colourful conversations are in the distant past.

How had her dad let it come to this?

With the new threat of putting the Onslow up for sale, Amy reluctantly turns to a local tradesman for help: Sean Murphy, the very same Onslow boy who saved her life all those years ago. With his help and that of some old friends, the task is clear: spend the summer building the hotel back up to its former glory or lose it for good.

In an endless summer, Amy soon realizes that sometimes in order to save your future, you have to face your past, even if it’s in the form of a smug, gorgeous Onslow boy.

My Review:
An Endless Summer is the second book in the Summer Series by Australian author, C.J. Duggan. You don't have to read The Boys of Summer first, but I highly recommend that you do, because it gives you a better understanding of who all the characters are, plus it's just too darn good to pass up. Check out my review of Boys of Summer!

C.J. Duggan has done it again! She has once more transported me to Onslow among the Onslow Boys, and I just want to dive into this book and live there forever. In An Endless Summer we see how Amy and Sean meet when she is a young teenager, and then meet again once she is nineteen. Sean was a favorite of mine from book one, so I was so excited to finally read more about him. While reading An Endless Summer, Sean gave me more stomach flips than any fictional man has the right to. He's just that good. He's funny, he's smart, and he's intense. I loved the bantering between him and Amy. They were so cute and hilarious, even when they were mad. Everything about this book reeled me in: the writing style, the sarcasm, the setting, the characters, the subplots, the anticipation... and so much more. I was in love with this series and this author after reading the first book, and this one was even better. For me, An Endless Summer is the perfect romance. It has just enough of everything, but not too much of anything. It can't get much better than this. If you only pick up one series to read this summer, this is the one you much choose! This is definitely my favorite book of 2013!

The ARC of An Endless Summer by C.J. Duggan was provided to me by the YA Bound for review. The opinions are my own.

Barbie World Tour! A Review of Barbie World by Heidi Acosta

Genre: Young Adult (Contemporary Romance)
Date Published: Published 2013

The Blurb:
“One Night is all it took to change everything between Barbie and me. One night to potentially lose the girl of my dreams forever. How do I prove to her that she can trust me? That all I want to do is protect her carefully guarded heart. I need to prove to her that I want to be a part of her world. But how?”

Dylan lost Barbie once before, now he is determined more than ever to win her heart and trust back. Easier said than done, especially with the new hot guy in town who is in a rock band and is the complete opposite of Dylan.

Barbie has been hurt beyond repair or so she thinks. It would be easier for heart to decide if she didn’t have to protect her little brother. And if Dylan would just put on a shirt! Dylan is not making this easy on her. It helps to have the distraction of the new guy in town cute bad boy Kai. But even though her heart is damaged it still knows what it wants.

When Barbie learns she has a family and with the help of Roxie and Kai, oh and Third and Dylan. They embark on a journey to help bring Barbie closer to a past she never knew existed.
Heidi Acosta brings you the heart felt story of friendship, love and heartbreak in the second book in of the Baby doll series Barbie World.

My Review:
Barbie World is the second book in the Baby Doll series by Heidi Acosta. Check out my review of the first book in the series, Barbie Girl. This time around was a combination of enjoyment and frustration. the story is told through both Barbie and Dylan's perspective. Barbie's point of view was enjoyable. This girl is strong, and quite frankly I think she should kick Dylan to the curb. Dylan was very whiny in this book. He wants Barbie back so bad, yet he doesn't dump Katie. He strings her along through most of the book. I completely lost respect for him. I like how Barbie's handling things though. She's once again in a tough situation. It's not dangerous like the last book, but still tough. She has moments of uncertainty(who doesn't), but for the most part, I think she's growing up. Third is still my favorite character!

The ARC of Barbie World by Heidi Acosta was provided to me by Xpresso Book Tours for review. The opinions are my own.

About the Author:
Heidi Acosta was born on Long Island, New York. Moving around a lot when she was younger, she has lived in New York, Arizona, New York (again), Washington, Georgia, and Florida, in that order. Each place offered her something special, but she will always consider New York her home.

Heidi started writing as soon as she could spell. When she was three, Heidi’s mother gave her a copy of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House in the Big Woods; thus beginning her lifelong love affair with literature.

Writing soon also became a form of therapy for Heidi, when she realized that no matter what was happening in her life, she could find emotional escape while writing. Some of her earliest stories featured her as a princess who explored new worlds with her horse Buttercup. If it sounds romantic, it wasn’t, there was no prince charming in those fairy lands (boys where yucky).

Heidi now resides in Florida with her husband, very active daughter, one hyper Chihuahua, two sweet cats, and one very fat moody cat.

Barbie Girl is the first Novel of Heidi’s new, four-book, Baby Doll Series: Barbie Girl, Barbie World, Doll Face, and Southern Sugar.

Seventeen-year-old Bianca Frost wants none of it, dreaming instead of a career in art or photography or…well, anything except working in the family’s museum. She knows the items in the glass display cases are fakes because, of course, magic doesn’t really exist.
