Book Review: For Ever by C.J Valles

Genre: Young Adult (Paranormal Romance)
Published: February 12, 2012
Publisher: Self

The Blurb:
Sixteen-year-old Wren Sullivan can read minds, but when she moves from Southern California to Portland, Oregon, she meets Ever Casey—the one person whose mind is off-limits. Wren does know one thing about her mysterious classmate: he has a dark secret to hide. And the closer she gets to learning the truth, the more dangerous it is for her and everyone around her.

My Review:
For Ever is the Debut novel by C.J. Valles. There were a lot of similarities between For Ever and Twilight. A LOT. From how the relationship plays out to the setting. It was very distracting at times, but through it all I still couldn't help but fall in love with Wren and Ever. Trying to figure out Ever, really kept me glued to this book. He is scary and distant and down right mean sometimes. So, of course, I love him! Wren is a persistent little thing who would be such a fun friend if she really existed. I love how her mind works. She's definitely entertaining. The book, as a whole, was enjoyable and left you with a cliffhanger ending that will drive me crazy until I know what happens next!
