Book Review: Tomorrow Land by Mari Mancusi

Genre: Young Adult (Science Fiction, Apocalyptic/Post Apocalyptic, Romance)

Peyton is faced with an impossible choice- her family or the boy who has her heart? Chris waits in the rain for a girl who never shows up. Four years later, Peyton and Chris find themselves traveling together with a group of orphans as they fight the living dead and raw emotions on their way to find the last remaining humans in hopes of saving the human race.

Tomorrow Land fluctuated between 2030 ans 2034. As the story unfolded, it built upon itself, giving you a full picture of how the world started falling apart and became the way it is with zombies roaming and humans being the endangered species. This also pertains to Chase and Peyton's relationship. You can see who they were before the Apocalypse and who they became after. They change and grow into well developed characters through the story. The plot is eerily realistic. It's something you could almost see happening in real life. This is the first novel I've read by Mari Mancusi, but now I'm encouraged to check out more of her books.

I received Tomorrow Land by Mari Mancusi from the publisher through Net Galley for review. The opinions are my own.
