Book Review: Silver and Stone by J.D. Thompson

Genre: Young Adult (Paranormal Romance)

After a family scandal, Alexis went from popular to outcast just in time for her Senior year in highschool. She finds out who her true friends are. Even her own sister turns against her. The only thing keeping her sane is the handsome new guy in her neighborhood. When her nightmares start to come alive and people start to disappear around town, Alexis starts to worry about what is really going on while she sleeps.

Silver and Stone is the first book in the Bloodlines Series. This book grabbed me right away, and I fell right into the story from the beginning. Alexis has an inner strength beyond most people, especially at her age. She's definitely a resilient little thing! Her relationship with Lucas is pretty instantaneous. While I usually prefer the romance to progress a little slower, Lucas is just the kind of guy you'd want to instantly jump into a relationship with. The story keeps you intrigued, and it's not until you've read most of the book that you find out some key information about the characters. I loved that about this book! It kept me guessing through the whole thing. Plus, add in all the twists and turns, and you never know what to expect. I'm looking forward to the sequel to this one!

Silver and Stone is only 99 cents! Too good to pass up!
