Hi everyone! Some images within this blog may not display correctly due to the unfortunate changes Photobucket has made. Please have patience as I fix them. This may take a while, as I'll have to go through each post 1 by 1. Thank you for understanding!

Teaser Tuesdays: The Merchant's Daughter by Melanie Dickerson

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share  doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can  add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser this week is from The Merchant's Daughter by Melanie Dickerson:

She started to sidle quietly away, hoping he wouldn't hear or see her. Just then he fell to his knees.

Is he hurt? Does he need help? Perhaps she should go get Mistress Eustacia.

Before she could rush away, he bent forward and moaned as though from deep inside. The sound grew, raw and wrenching, until it became a howl. Then he bowed lower and became still.

Do you have a blog? Post a link to your Teaser Tuesday post in the comments. No blog? Post a Teaser in the comments anyway!

  3. I'm about 3/4 of the way through. So, I should have a review up in about a day or so. :o) So far, I'm really liking it. I love this kind of romance anyway, and I almost pulled an all nighter last night. I stayed up until 4:30am reading. I just couldn't put it down. Thank you for stopping by :o)
