The Eternal Ones is the first book in the Eternal Ones Series by Kirsten Miller. When it came to Ethan/Iain, Haven lost all common sense. One minute she was so in love. Iain does no wrong. Let's hop in the sack. The next minute, he did this. He did that. He's more horrible than horrible and then back in the sack again. She went back and forth so many times it became completely frustrating.

I enjoyed getting the flashbacks into the many lives and histories of the characters and their relationships with each other in all their lives. I thought this was going to be a paranormal romance, and it was, but it was more of a mystery than anything, and that was okay because the whole mystery of the Ouroboros Society and the histories of the people involved really carried the story more than the actual romance. In fact, I spent a good portion of the book not trusting the main love interest at all. Actually, I spent a good portion of the book not trusting any of the characters. I'm still not sure about some. Nope, I'm not telling you if any of them, including Iain, earned my trust or not as finding out was part of the fun.
