My Review:
Moonlight and Oranges is a modern re-telling of the Greek myth about Cupid and Psyche brought into modern times with a few extras added. At first, I didn't realize it was a re-telling. I thought it was going to be just another easy love story. Then Kestrin's mother started playing a bigger role, and I started to piece things together. His mama has some definite issues. The story starts off in a whirlwind romance that happens so quickly, you barely have time to blink before the problems start. I would have liked more detail about the ending of Kestrin's dream, but I enjoyed him as a character. I liked the background behind Lorona's name, and how she fit or didn't fit within his dream. The plot moved along fairly quickly and kept my attention from beginning to end.
