Book Review: Convergence by J.D. Watts

Thank you for joining us on our stop off of The Young Adult Blog Tour. Our date on the tour has been broken up into four sections: The interview, giveaway, guest post, and this book review with J.D. Watts! This is all thanks to J.D. Watts and TWCS Publishing House.

Genre: Young Adult (Paranormal Romance)

Convergence if the first book in the Children of Creation Series by J.D. Watts.  The story is centered primarily around Dani, a college student who can see celestial beings both good and bad. A new Guardian is sent to protect her, replacing her current Guardian that has become a motherly best friend since Dani lost her real mother at a young age. Dani always knew she was different, but she never knew why. With a war between Angels and Demons on the horizon, Dani must figure out the truth about her life and which side she will choose to follow.

Convergence was a very hard book to put down. I loved seeing angels portrayed with such loyalty and strength. This is how I picture Angels to be. The author put a unique spin on the typical Guardian Angel. I always thought them to be a type of angel, but in Convergence, they are a separate creation. I enjoyed this new addition to the world of celestial beings. There were many things about this book that flowed right along with my way of thinking, and even the new ideas made sense and fit with the story. I want to see where the love story goes and how Dani grows further with her newly given information about herself. I'm excited to read the second book.
